As in, that is what I am up to right now. I love being lazy in the mornings on my days off because usually it’s “up and at em” for me! Before I delve into my day and my popcorn popper review, I wanted to say a big THANK YOU for all of your sweet as pie words about my marathon! Yes, it IS my first one! I have lots of halves under my belt but I think it’s time for the full meal deal! When you think of October 3rd in terms of training weeks it doesn’t seem so far away… Most plans are 16 weeks long, which puts me starting my “official” training in June, but you know me, I’ll be running and cross training up a storm until then! I’ve been noodling around looking at different plans and found a Runner’s World one that looks like it could be a winner, but do any of you have training plan suggestions? I’m also debating about trying to squeeze a PR half marathon in before October because I’d love to start in Corral 1 (sub 1:45 half marathon time) and miss a little bit of the craziness at the start!
Last night I obviously had to break in the new popcorn popper. This thing is slick as snot. First you toss in some popcorn
Then you put on the lid.
Then you put the whole thing in the microwave for a few minutes
Then you marvel at how amazing your popcorn turns out!
Plus you already have it in a bowl! How swell is that? I even found it on Amazon on the cheap, so shop away!
Nothing completes a lazy day off morning like a pot of tea and scraping the bottom of an oats jar. Never have I been so happy that John loves peanut butter as much as I do… Between sandwiches, baking, and granola making we plowed through this jar in no time flat!
Instead of a fake bake apple, I went with a pear this morning and it was ohhhh so good.
Plans for today? Not much! A run, a trip to the library, and probably to Starbucks to get some work done. I don’t even have to go to the grocery store today! Exactly what this gal needs. Make it a fantastic day everyone!
